But what is curious about the movie, which is quite awful even by the widest margins of quality, is why the director insists on shooting the action sequences as if he was re-making Spielberg's SAVING PRIVATE RYAN. The effect doesn't make the movie any better, simply because its action scenes are just, well, terrible.
And then prisoners turned ghosts appears and more foolishness happens. Then there are the characters whose only reason to exist is to get in the hero's way.
Oy.
