Long-haired drug and pornography fan Jake Busey (as Rick Jeffers) finds his Los Angeles apartment robbed, and trashed. So, he decides to soothe his sorrows by visiting Palm Springs, where he hopes to meat up with promiscuous adult film favorite Jennifer Tilly (as Ginger). The otherwise luckless Mr. Busey had once enjoyed the pleasure of Ms. Tilly's company, after a street encounter. Along the way, Busey picks up quirky bird rights activist Crispin Glover (as Jules Langdon).
